Brief

The client asked for a dense urban housing block that would still read as a calm, crafted object on the skyline. The tower stacks 210 apartments over a double-height retail plinth, with balconies pulled into the facade line to keep the silhouette clean.

Approach

We modelled the full envelope in Revit and coordinated the precast structure with the facade contractor through weekly Navisworks clash sessions. The plinth's timber slats are a repeating parametric family, which let us tune the rhythm without redrawing.

Outcome

Envelope tolerance issues at level transitions were caught in coordination rather than on site, and the facade package closed with zero change orders.
