An aerial-led urban study of a riverside rail precinct: platform-deck airspace development options, pedestrian bridges, and staged construction over live tracks.
Context
A century-old station sits on the best riverfront land in the city, its platform decks used only by trains.
Concept
The study tested three airspace scenarios above the live platforms, from a light public deck to a full over-station development, each with staging that never closes a platform.
Delivery
Massing and shadow studies ran in Rhino/Grasshopper against the heritage constraints.
Impact
The client took the mid-density scenario into its ten-year infrastructure plan.
