Concept
Keep the ground plane public: the building lifts its main gallery one level up so the promenade flows underneath uninterrupted.
Delivery
The cantilever geometry was rationalised in Grasshopper, then handed to the steel contractor as a Tekla model with fabrication-level connections.
Impact
The shaded ground floor has become the most-used stretch of the promenade — exactly the brief.
