Sillage | Sailing Yacht CGI

A cinematic CGI and animation project presenting a performance sailing yacht through open-water perspectives, detailed deck views and changing natural light.

Context

Sillage is a CGI and animation project created for a team operating within Monaco’s high-end yacht racing scene. The visualisation was developed to communicate the yacht’s design, performance and character through premium imagery suitable for sponsor presentations, marketing and digital campaigns.

Concept

The visual direction presents the yacht in an active relationship with the sea rather than as an isolated object. Water, wind, reflections and changing natural light were used to express scale, speed and movement while creating an emotional sense of freedom and open water.

Visualisation

Maverick Frame Studio developed an accurate digital model of the sailing yacht and created a series of photorealistic renders and cinematic animation sequences. Wide marine perspectives establish the vessel’s silhouette, while closer views focus on the hull, deck, rigging and material details. Procedural water simulation, lighting and post-production were carefully balanced to create believable interaction between the yacht and the surrounding environment.

Outcome

The final imagery combines technical clarity with cinematic storytelling. The renders and animation formed a cohesive visual system for sponsor presentations, social media and promotional campaigns, communicating both the design of the yacht and the energy of competitive sailing.
