Arnhemseweg in Amersfoort
Full modelling & coordination for an apartments on Arnhemseweg 23 in Amersfort for the disciplines mechanical and plumbing, which includes, heating, ventilation, water supply, modelled and clash-reso…
The Challenge
Multiple specialised contractors needed to install services in tight floor voids and shafts without site rework. The architect and structural engineer required a coordinated MEPF model early in the process to lock down ceiling heights and shaft openings.
What We Did
Based on the engineering calculations and after the completion of the architectural and structural models we have incormporated the required mechanical components in BIM envoironment using Revit. After multiple rounds of coordinations we started to produce the drawing required for the construction team and the contractors beside the generation of the quantities for placing orders.
Scope delivered
LOD 350 Revit MEP modelling for HVAC, plumbing, water supply, central heating installations, weekly clash detection rounds using Navisworks and BIMcollab, builders' work openings, and ISO 19650-aligned model exchange with project partners.
The Result
All MEP clashes resolved before tender, openings provided upstream to the structural engineer, and final installation matched the model with no major coordination disputes between trades on site.
